The Zurich Unterland stretches from Bülach through Dielsdorf and Embrach to the Rhine. If you're furnishing your home from there, you don't need to drive into the city to get started: the first appointment at your home costs nothing, and neither does the conversation before it or the concept afterwards. If you'd rather try beds and sofas yourself, come without an appointment to our showroom at Nüschelerstrasse 30 in Zurich. Delivery and assembly are then handled with our own team, Switzerland-wide.

The Zurich Unterland: Bülach, Dielsdorf, Embrach and the Municipalities to the Rhine

The Zurich Unterland is the name for the northern part of the canton of Zurich. Bülach, Dielsdorf and Embrach are part of it, as are the surrounding municipalities up to the Rhine. The S-Bahn and motorway lead to Zurich; but anyone who has to travel back and forth several times because of a bed or a sofa loses time. So we have two points of contact for you: our showroom at Nüschelerstrasse 30 in the city, and a visit to you in the Unterland. Both belong together, and both start at no cost.

The Free First Visit – How It Works

We arrange an appointment and come to the Unterland. On site we look at the room, take measurements, talk about use, light and existing furniture, and listen to what you have in mind. That produces an initial concept. We charge nothing for the conversation, the visit and this initial concept – a quotation only follows afterwards, and only then do you decide. Advice runs in English, German, French or Italian. For trying beds and sofas, you then come to the showroom; no booking is needed for that, Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm.

What Happens After You Order

Delivery and assembly are handled by our own team, Switzerland-wide and so throughout the Unterland too – we deliver and assemble directly at your home. We usually deliver within 48 hours. Assembly takes place on site, and we take the packaging away again. We take your old bed away free of charge on request and dispose of it properly; tell us when you buy, so we can allow for the space on the route. We carry beds and many other products in stock; such stock items are delivered directly as soon as payment is received. Which models are currently in stock, we clarify on the day. Payment is by arrangement, part payment included.

Yes. Imperial Interiors advises at your home on request – in Bülach, Dielsdorf, Embrach and the surrounding municipalities of the Zurich Unterland. The first visit, the conversation before it and the initial concept are free of charge and without obligation; a quotation only follows afterwards. You arrange appointments by phone or through the contact form.

How long does delivery to the Unterland take?

Delivery and assembly are handled by Imperial Interiors' own team Switzerland-wide, usually within 48 hours. This requires the finish you want to be available in stock; individually configured furniture follows the manufacturer's production lead time. We give you the realistic date before you buy, with the quotation.

Can I have my old bed disposed of?

Yes. At delivery we take your old bed away free of charge on request and dispose of it properly. Let us know when you buy, so we can allow for the space on the route. Our fitters carry the new bed into the room and assemble it there.

Where is the showroom and when is it open?

At Nüschelerstrasse 30 in 8001 Zürich, a five-minute walk from the main station – Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm, Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm. On 430 square metres you can try beds and sofas without an appointment. Imperial Interiors has existed since 2003; the showroom stands at Nüschelerstrasse 30 in Zurich.
