Eight reasons for DUXIANA
Why top athletes, diplomats and the Swedish royal family sleep on DUXIANA.
Eight features that have set DUXIANA apart from every other bed for almost a hundred years.
Clinically proven deep sleep
Independent studies show: DUX sleepers achieve up to 10% more deep sleep phases per night. More regeneration, fewer waking phases, greater recovery.
100 years of sleep research
Since 1926 DUXIANA has developed sleep systems in Sweden – four generations of the Ljung family, continuous innovation. Not a trend, but tradition.
4'000+ Swedish steel springs
Over 4'000 individually connected springs from 1.6 km of hardened Swedish steel per bed. They respond as a dynamic system – like a perfect suspension – to your movements.
Pascal system: adjustability without compromise
Six exchangeable spring cassettes per side, two each in soft, medium and firm. Firmer under the hips, softer under the shoulders. For couples: each side individually.
20-year warranty · Lifespan 30+ years
Sustainable Comfort Design: top pad, Pascal cassettes, covers – everything replaceable. You don't buy a consumable, but an investment across generations.
Swedish royal family & top athletes
DUXIANA is the official supplier to the Swedish royal family. Used by professional athletes, diplomats and the most discerning private clients worldwide.
Fully replaceable components
After years, the top pad can be renewed, Pascal cassettes swapped, the cover replaced. The spring system itself lasts for decades.
Exclusive at Imperial Interiors in Zurich
We are the authorised Swiss DUXIANA partner. All models available for testing in the showroom. Personal consultation, our own installation, 20+ years of DUX experience.
Clinically proven
10% more deep sleep.
That's measurable.
Independent sleep studies prove: people who sleep on a DUX bed achieve significantly higher deep-sleep ratios per night. Up to 10% more time in the most regenerative sleep phase – the one in which muscles, immune system and brain recover.
The reason: the Continuous Coil spring system responds dynamically to every movement. Instead of localised pressure peaks, the load is distributed across more than 4'000 springs. Fewer micro-awakenings, longer deep-sleep cycles, higher sleep quality.

The technology behind it
Continuous Coil Spring System
Over 4'000 interconnected springs from 1.6 km of Swedish steel. A dynamic spring system that adapts like a suspension to every movement.
Pascal system (from DUX 30)
Six exchangeable spring cassettes – two each in soft, medium and firm. Arrange them freely for individual support of shoulders, hips and legs.
Xupport Top Pad
Removable latex pad with cotton cover. Offers additional pressure relief and can be renewed over the years.
Sustainable Comfort Design
Component-based system following the Replace, Renew, Restore principle. Every element can be replaced individually.
Patented system
Pascal: one bed,
two sleep profiles, every firmness.
The only system with which you can individually adjust the firmness of your bed not just once at purchase, but for the next 20 years – without changing the bed.

Six cassettes per side
Six exchangeable spring cassettes per bed side – in the shoulder, hip and leg areas. Two cassettes each in three firmness levels: soft, medium, firm.
Freely combinable
You decide where you want which firmness. Firmer under the hips for support, softer under the shoulders for pressure relief. Adjustable without tools.
Adjustable anytime
Your body changes, your sleep habits do too. Pascal can still be adjusted years later – simply swap cassettes instead of buying a new bed.
Couples: each side individually
One bed, two sleep profiles. You sleep softer, your partner firmer – or vice versa. No more half-hearted compromise in the middle.

Our promise
20-year warranty. 30+ years lifespan.
A DUX bed is not a piece of furniture you replace every few years. It is an investment that pays off over decades – cheaper per night than any low-cost bed.
20-year warranty
On all spring systems and load-bearing components. No ifs or buts. Swedish quality promise since 1926.
Renewable components
Replace the top pad after 10 years, the Pascal cassettes when your sleep needs change, the covers when worn. The spring system stays.
Not a throwaway product
Sustainable Comfort Design: Replace, Renew, Restore. Instead of buying a new bed – renew individual parts. Good for the climate, good for the budget.
A DUX pays off
DUX 30 at CHF 12'400 over 25 years = CHF 1.36 per night.
Cheaper than any boxspring purchase over the same period – with higher sleep quality and without landfill throwaway goods.
Voices of DUX clients
«After three slipped discs, I was very sceptical. Today, four years after buying the DUX, the pain is gone. The consultation in the showroom was exceptionally competent.»
«My husband sleeps firmer, I sleep softer. Before: constant discussions. With the DUX 60: each their own side, no more compromise. Game-changer.»
«We slept on an expensive boxspring for 15 years. The difference to the DUX was noticeable from the very first night. Deeper sleep, more energy during the day.»
Test-rest without pressure
You only understand a DUX
when you lie on it.
All six models are ready in our showroom on Nüschelerstrasse – a five-minute walk from Zurich main station. Here's how your test-rest session works:
Personal first consultation
We listen: How do you sleep? Where does it hurt? What were your previous beds? From this comes the pre-selection.
Test-rest without time pressure
You try several models – with an espresso, in peace. 30 to 60 minutes or more. We do not interrupt.
Test the Pascal configuration
We swap cassettes before your eyes – you feel the difference immediately. Firmer, softer, differently distributed.
Decision in peace
No sales pressure. Many of our clients come 2–3 times before deciding. That's intentional: a DUX bed is an investment for 20+ years.

Frequently asked questions
What you should know
What is the difference between bed and mattress (DUX 30 vs. DUX 31)?
The even model numbers (10, 30, 60, 80) are complete beds with a characteristic DUX hardwood inner frame that stabilises the spring system. The odd variants (11, 31) have the same spring technology but without this inner frame – they are pure mattresses for existing bed frames or platform beds.
What does the Pascal system actually offer?
With Pascal you can adjust the firmness individually on each side of the bed. Six exchangeable spring cassettes (two each in soft, medium, firm) can be freely combined – firmer under the hips, softer under the shoulders. For couples with different needs, this is a decisive gain in comfort.
How long does a DUX bed last?
DUXIANA grants a 20-year warranty on all models. In practice, DUX beds often last considerably longer because all components are replaceable: top pad, Pascal cassettes, covers. You don't buy a consumable, but an investment across generations.
Which model suits me?
That depends on your sleep habits, body weight, any back issues and your budget. That's exactly what our showroom is for: test-resting for 30–60 minutes, personal consultation – without sales pressure.
Is the price really worth it?
A DUX bed is a purchase for 20–30 years. Divide the price by the usage period: a DUX 30 at CHF 12'400 over 25 years costs less per night than cheap beds that have to be replaced every 8 years. Plus the sleep quality – hard to measure in francs, but noticeable.
Do you deliver throughout Switzerland?
Yes. Our own logistics and assembly team delivers throughout German-speaking Switzerland within 48 hours, in the rest of Switzerland by appointment. We assemble the bed professionally at your home and take your old bed away on request.
Can I adjust my DUX bed later?
Yes – that's actually one of the greatest advantages. Pascal cassettes can be swapped at any time (e.g. when you gain weight or want to sleep differently). The top pad is changed every 8–12 years. The cover is removable and replaceable. So your DUX stays comfortable for decades.
Is there a test-rest guarantee?
In the showroom you can try as long as you want – without any obligation. We don't offer a 'home trial' due to the complexity of the configuration; instead we take the necessary time with you in the showroom. Many clients come 2–3 times before deciding.
