Furniture in the Zurich Oberland: From Uster to the Tösstal

Uster, Wetzikon, Hinwil, Pfäffikon ZH and the municipalities of the Tösstal make up the Zurich Oberland; the Greifensee and Pfäffikersee lie right in the middle of it. Furniture is rarely bought here in passing. Our showroom at Nüschelerstrasse 30 in Zurich can therefore be combined well with a trip into town – and if you're planning several rooms at once, invite us instead to the free first visit at your home. Delivery and assembly are handled with our own team.

Uster, Wetzikon, Hinwil, Pfäffikon ZH: the Zurich Oberland

The Zurich Oberland lies in the east of the canton. Uster, Wetzikon, Hinwil and Pfäffikon ZH are its larger centres, along with the municipalities of the Tösstal, which follows the course of the Töss. With the Greifensee and the Pfäffikersee, two lakes belong to the region. For us, nothing here runs differently than in the city: we furnish bedrooms, living spaces and whole houses regardless of whether the address is in Zurich or the Tösstal. What differs is the organisation – we plan visit appointments, journeys and assembly so you have as few trips as possible.

The Showroom Visit – and What You Should Bring

A bed only shows itself lying down, a sofa only sitting down. That's why the trip to Nüschelerstrasse 30, a five-minute walk from the main station, is worthwhile: 430 square metres, Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm, Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm, trying beds and sofas needs no appointment. It helps if you bring room measurements, a floor plan or photos – then we're talking about your room, not about ideas. If it's about more than a single piece of furniture, we reverse the order and come to you in the Oberland first: the initial consultation, first visit and initial concept cost nothing.

Delivery, Assembly and the Question of Stock

We deliver and assemble Switzerland-wide with our own team, usually within 48 hours – to the Oberland just as to the city. Our fitters bring the furniture into the room, assemble it and take the packaging away; an old bed we take away free of charge on request and dispose of it. Whether it can be that fast at all depends on availability: we carry beds and many other products in stock, and we deliver stock items as soon as payment is received. Which models that currently applies to changes daily; we tell you on the day, rather than promising anything online. If you'd like to split the amount, you can arrange that with us.

The house is at home in sleep: DUXIANA, our own label NUVOSETTE with beds from CHF 3'900, and King Koil with the Reserve Luxury mattress collection from CHF 3'500 – guide prices including VAT –, plus sofas by Flou, furniture by Dallagnese and lighting by Natevo, Bomma and Melogranoblu. Do you deliver furniture to Uster, Wetzikon or Hinwil?

Yes. Imperial Interiors delivers and assembles Switzerland-wide with its own team – throughout the Zurich Oberland including Uster, Wetzikon, Hinwil, Pfäffikon ZH and the Tösstal municipalities. Usually within 48 hours, provided the goods are available in stock. Assembly in the room and taking the packaging away are included, and we dispose of an old bed free of charge on request.

Do you have a branch in the Zurich Oberland?

No. Imperial Interiors runs one showroom, at Nüschelerstrasse 30 in 8001 Zürich – 430 square metres, a five-minute walk from the main station, accessible without an appointment, Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm. We do, however, offer the consultation at your home throughout the Oberland; the first visit is free of charge.

For the first appointment, do I come to the Oberland or do you come to me?

Both are possible. For the showroom visit, you come to Nüschelerstrasse 30 in Zurich, no appointment needed. If you'd rather start at home in the Oberland first, you get the first visit together with the initial concept free of charge.

Do you also plan whole houses?

Yes. Space planning ranges from a single room to a complete concept for a whole house. Getting started – conversation, on-site visit, initial concept – is free of charge and without obligation; whatever planning follows appears in the quotation before you decide. We speak English, German, French and Italian.
