Even so, the search for a particular bed or sofa sometimes ends in the city of Zurich. Our showroom at Nüschelerstrasse 30 is a five-minute walk from the main station: one train ride, one visit, trying beds without an appointment. If you'd rather start the consultation at home, you get the first visit together with the initial concept free of charge. Delivery and assembly are handled with our own team.

The Winterthur Region: the City and Its Neighbouring Municipalities

The Winterthur region takes in the city itself and the municipalities around it, in the north-east of the canton of Zurich. Fast trains and the motorway lead to Zurich; in the other direction go our delivery vans, because our delivery area is the whole of Switzerland. What that means in practice: you don't have to live in the city to buy from us, and you don't have to travel three times either. One visit to the showroom is usually enough to clarify which bed, which sofa or which table is even an option – everything else can be discussed by phone, by email, or at your home.

One Appointment, Two Options

You decide where to start. In the showroom at Nüschelerstrasse 30, beds, sofas, furniture, lighting and outdoor stand ready to touch on 430 square metres; if you want to lie down and sit, you can do that at any time during opening hours, no booking needed – Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm, Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm. For an in-depth consultation we set aside time, so no one waits. Alternatively, we come to the Winterthur region: the initial consultation, home visit and initial concept cost you nothing and commit you to nothing. Four languages are available: English, German, French, Italian – since 2003 and for over 6'000 customers.

Delivery to Winterthur and Surroundings

Delivery and assembly are handled by our own team – into the Winterthur region too, usually within 48 hours. Our fitters don't leave the furniture at the door, but carry it into the room, assemble it and take the packaging away. When a bed is replaced, we take the old bed away free of charge on request and dispose of it properly. A quick date depends on availability: we carry beds and many other products in stock and deliver stock items as soon as payment is received. Anything individually configured needs production time – we give you the realistic date with the quotation.

Brands and Prices – the Overview

For sleep, we carry DUXIANA as exclusive Swiss distribution partner, our own label NUVOSETTE and King Koil; the DUX mattress starts at CHF 3'600, NUVOSETTE mattresses at CHF 2'800, each including VAT. Flou stands for beds, sofas, sofa beds and armchairs and is distributed exclusively by us in Switzerland. Added to that are Dallagnese for furniture and wardrobes, Natevo, Bomma and Melogranoblu for lighting, and Unopiù and azado for outdoors. Do you have a furniture shop in Winterthur?

No. Imperial Interiors has one location: the showroom at Nüschelerstrasse 30 in 8001 Zürich, a five-minute walk from the main station, on 430 square metres. From Winterthur you reach it by train. We do, however, offer the consultation at your home throughout the region – the first visit is free of charge and without obligation.

Do you deliver to Winterthur?

Yes. Delivery and assembly are handled Switzerland-wide with our own team, so also to Winterthur and the surrounding municipalities, usually within 48 hours for goods in stock. Assembly in the room and taking the packaging away are included; we dispose of an old bed free of charge on request.

Can I pay in instalments?

Part payment is available at Imperial Interiors. The guide prices including VAT are CHF 3'900 for NUVOSETTE beds and CHF 5'300 for DUXIANA beds. What your project costs overall appears in the quotation, before you decide.

Is the trip from Winterthur to Zurich worthwhile?

You decide. Honestly: a bed is judged lying down, a sofa sitting down – that needs the showroom, and it only exists at Nüschelerstrasse 30 in Zurich. No booking is needed, open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm. If it's about several rooms, we come to you first, free of charge.
