The Three Layers – Briefly Explained
A box spring bed consists of three layers: the sprung box as the base, the upper mattress for the actual lying comfort, and an optional topper on top. Size, Firmness and Two People in One Bed
Before choosing a model comes the question of size. A width of 160, 180 or 200 centimetres decides not only how much space you need but also whether a single continuous mattress or two separate cores make more sense; separate cores allow two different firmness levels and can be replaced individually. Firmness itself depends on build and preferred sleeping position, and isn't a matter of softer being more comfortable. That can only be checked by lying down, which is why an in-depth trial belongs to every box spring bed purchase. If you can't come to Zurich, clarify sizes and variants by phone beforehand, so the visit is worthwhile.
Price, Delivery and Assembly Throughout Switzerland
Our NUVOSETTE box spring bed starts at CHF 3'900 including VAT, NUVOSETTE mattresses at CHF 2'800. What your bed ends up costing depends on size, cover and mattress choice – we give you the price for the specific configuration, not as a range. Delivery and assembly are handled throughout Switzerland by our own team, usually within 48 hours – we deliver and assemble directly at your home. We carry beds in stock, and stock items go out as soon as payment is received; individually configured versions follow the manufacturer's lead time. We take your old bed away free of charge at delivery for proper disposal; on request, the invoice amount can be settled in two steps.
