A Single Piece of Furniture or the Whole Flat?
The two cases work differently. If you're looking for a bed, a sofa or a light, the showroom is the fastest route: try, compare, decide – no appointment needed, Monday to Friday until 7 pm, Saturday until 6 pm, each from 10 am. If you're furnishing several rooms or moving, it's better to start at home. Then we come to District 10, take measurements and assess the situation, and put forward an initial concept that thinks through furniture, lighting and order together. No costs arise from this: the first contact, the on-site visit and the concept are without obligation; the quotation only follows once the direction stands.
When Standard Sizes Don't Fit
Sometimes no series furniture fits: an alcove, a sloping wall, a wall that leaves barely any room between two doors. For that, we work with two partners. Italian Fit Out makes bespoke furniture, Schreinerei Sümi handles interior fit-outs, kitchens and bathrooms. The route starts the same as always: we look at the spot in your flat, note measurements and clarify whether an adjustment is enough or a bespoke piece is needed. With beds and sofas, too, much can be controlled through size, cover and finish – that costs production time, which we name honestly with the quotation.
Getting Here, Delivery and Assembly in District 10
There's no branch in Höngg – our only location is the showroom at Nüschelerstrasse 30 in 8001 Zürich, a five-minute walk from the main station. The other way round, we come to you: for the free first visit, for the site survey, and later for delivery and assembly. That's handled by our own team, Switzerland-wide and usually within 48 hours once the goods are ready. Much of the house, beds especially, is available in stock; stock items we deliver as soon as payment is received. If a bed is being replaced, the old one goes back with us free of charge and is disposed of properly.

Do you make furniture to measure for flats in Höngg?
Yes. Bespoke furniture is made through our partner Italian Fit Out, interior fit-outs, kitchens and bathrooms through Schreinerei Sümi. The initial consultation, first visit to your home and initial concept are free of charge; during it we get a picture and take initial measurements. The technical survey for manufacturing takes place once you commission the work and is included in the quotation.
Where is the Imperial Interiors showroom?
At Nüschelerstrasse 30 in 8001 Zürich, a five-minute walk from the main station. Open Monday to Friday between 10 am and 7 pm, Saturday between 10 am and 6 pm; on 430 square metres stand beds, sofas, furniture, lighting and outdoor furniture.
Does the planning consultation cost anything?
The initial consultation, first visit to your home and initial concept are free and without obligation. Costs only arise with an order, and even then the amount can be split into part payments on request.
Do you deliver to District 10 too?
Yes. Our own team delivers and assembles throughout Switzerland, usually within 48 hours. We clarify access, stairwell and lift before the delivery date, so the date holds.
