How wide should a sideboard be?
Width follows two things: the contents and the wall. As a guide, a sideboard looks right when it stays noticeably narrower than the wall it stands against and holds a recognisable relationship to the sofa or dining table opposite it. No. The initial consultation, home visit and initial concept are free of charge and without obligation at Imperial Interiors. Costs only arise with the quotation for furniture and any further planning; a split payment can be arranged. Consultations are available in English, German, French and Italian.
Does a sideboard work as a TV unit?
Yes, provided cable routing, ventilation and height are right. It's worth noting screen size, seating distance and existing connections before you choose – that determines width and interior layout.
