Furnishing in Zurich Fluntern
Furniture for Fluntern: Planning at Your Home, Showroom in District 1
A furnishing project rarely starts with a piece of furniture, but with a question: what should the room be able to do in future? That's exactly where we start. Fluntern lies in District 7 on the Zürichberg, our house at Nüschelerstrasse 30 in District 1 – we cover the distance between the two. The initial consultation, first visit to your home and initial concept cost nothing; what becomes of it, you decide afterwards, at your own pace.
Step One: the Appointment at Your Home in the Quarter
We come with open eyes and no catalogue. On site we take initial measurements, look at the floor plan, lighting conditions and use, and talk about what should stay – not every piece has to be replaced. That produces an initial concept: a first order with suggestions, placements and alternatives. The initial consultation, first visit and initial concept are free of charge and commit you to nothing; the technical survey for manufacturing follows once you commission the work and is included in the quotation. If you only want to tackle a single room, you get a concept for exactly that.
Step Two: Checking What's Actually an Option
Paper rarely lies, but it stays silent: whether upholstery supports you, a pull-out runs quietly, or a cover looks in daylight the way you expect, only shows itself on the actual piece. That's what the showroom is for. On 430 square metres stand beds by DUXIANA, NUVOSETTE and King Koil, sofas, armchairs and sofa beds by Flou, furniture and wardrobes by Dallagnese, light furniture by Natevo, and lighting by Bomma and Melogranoblu. Trying beds and sofas needs no appointment; for an in-depth session we arrange a time, so someone is there for you undisturbed.
Step Three: When Standard Sizes Aren't Enough
Not every wall is straight, not every alcove fits a standard size. For such cases we work with two partners: Italian Fit Out makes furniture to measure, Schreinerei Sümi handles interior fit-outs, kitchens and bathrooms. Everything individually configured or made needs production time – we give you the realistic date with the quotation, not only afterwards. Delivery and assembly are handled by our own team; for stock items usually within 48 hours. If a project runs across several rooms, part payment is available.
