Furniture in the Limmattal
Furniture in the Limmattal – Furnishing From Schlieren to Dietikon
The Limmattal follows the Limmat downstream out of the city: Schlieren, Urdorf, Dietikon and the municipalities around them, served by the S-Bahn, the Limmattalbahn and the A1 motorway. Our showroom at Nüschelerstrasse 30 is easy to reach from here – and if it's simpler the other way round, we come to you. Both start the same way: with a conversation about what the room needs to do.
The Limmattal West of Zurich
The Limmattal is the valley of the Limmat west of the city. Schlieren and Dietikon lie right on the river, Urdorf a little further off at the edge of the valley; towards the west, the valley continues beyond the cantonal border. The corridor is served by the Limmattalbahn, the S-Bahn and the A1 motorway. In practice that means short distances in both directions for us – for you into the showroom, for our fitters to you. Whether flat or house: we clarify access, lift and door dimensions beforehand, so delivery and assembly are done in a single appointment.
Showroom or Home Visit – What Makes Sense When
If you know what you're looking for – a bed, a sofa, a light – the showroom is the direct route: 430 square metres at Nüschelerstrasse 30 in 8001 Zürich, a five-minute walk from the main station, trying beds and sofas needs no appointment, Monday to Friday 10 am to 7 pm, Saturday 10 am to 6 pm. If, on the other hand, it's a whole room or a whole flat under discussion, the reverse route is worthwhile: we come to you in the Limmattal, look at the situation and work out an initial concept. The conversation, first visit and initial concept are free of charge and without obligation.
In Stock, Delivery and Assembly
A large part of our bed range and many other products sit in our stock. If your piece is among them, we deliver it as soon as payment is received, with no wait for production. Which models that currently applies to changes daily – so you won't find a list here, but can get the information in the showroom or by phone. Delivery and assembly are handled Switzerland-wide by our own team, usually within 48 hours. The old bed is taken away free of charge on the same trip and disposed of. If a purchase turns out larger, it can be split into part payments.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get from the Limmattal to your showroom?
The Imperial Interiors showroom is at Nüschelerstrasse 30 in 8001 Zürich, a five-minute walk from the main station. If you're travelling by S-Bahn from Dietikon, Schlieren or Urdorf, you continue on foot from the main station. Open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm.
Are beds immediately available?
Imperial Interiors carries beds and many other products in stock. What's in stock is delivered directly as soon as payment is received. Which models that applies to on a given day keeps changing – so availability is clarified on the day, in the showroom or by phone, not advertised online.
Do you deliver to Dietikon, Schlieren and Urdorf?
Yes. Delivery and assembly are handled Switzerland-wide with our own team, usually within 48 hours. That applies to the whole Limmattal. Our fitters take the old bed away free of charge on request and dispose of it.
What does a good mattress cost?
The guide prices including VAT are CHF 2'800 for a NUVOSETTE mattress, CHF 3'500 for King Koil Reserve Luxury and CHF 3'600 for the DUX mattress. Trying them needs no appointment; which firmness and construction suit you is best worked out by lying down.
Free and without obligation – showroom visits also welcome without appointment.
