In furniture, luxury isn't a label but a sum of manufacturing, material and care. Since 2003 we have worked with European workshops whose pieces can be configured, reordered and maintained for years – from Flou and Dallagnese through DUXIANA to lighting by Bomma and Melogranoblu. Where standard sizes aren't enough, we plan made-to-measure work with our partners. The initial consultation, a first visit to your home and the initial concept are free of charge.
How Workshop Craftsmanship Shows in Everyday Life
The difference shows less on the evening you buy than in the years after: workshops work with documented materials and measurements, so a piece can later be added to, reupholstered or repaired instead of having to be replaced. Dimensions, wood type, fabric or leather, colour and feet are fixed at the time of ordering, not dictated by what's in stock. When Standard Sizes Run Out: Made to Measure
Many homes in Switzerland have sloping ceilings, alcoves or old-building dimensions that no catalogue piece is made for. For these cases we work with two partners: Italian Fit Out makes bespoke furniture, while Schreinerei Sümi handles interior fit-outs, kitchens and bathrooms. That way, fitted wardrobes, dressing rooms or sideboards can be tailored exactly to the space and matched to the series pieces within the same concept – material, colour and handles included. The route there runs through measuring up, drawings and sampling, not a configurator. Advice, Purchase and Delivery – How It Works
It starts not with a sales contract but with a conversation. The initial consultation, a first visit to your home and the initial concept are free of charge and without obligation; we advise in English, German, French and Italian. Anyone who wants to see the showroom can come without an appointment to Nüschelerstrasse 30 in Zurich, a five-minute walk from the main station. Once the selection stands, we give you prices and lead times for the specific configuration; part payment is available, with a deposit on order and the balance before delivery. Delivery and assembly are handled Switzerland-wide by our own team, usually within 48 hours for stock items, otherwise following the manufacturer's lead time.

What does luxury furniture cost at Imperial Interiors?
For furniture and lighting, the price depends on model, material and finish – a blanket answer wouldn't be honest, so we give it for the specific configuration. Reliable guide prices exist for sleep: NUVOSETTE beds from CHF 3'900, DUXIANA beds from CHF 5'300, the DUX mattress from CHF 3'600, all prices including VAT.
